A Brief Overview
Vascular vein treatment targets vascular lesions by using Lumenis IPL with OPTTM (Optimal Pulse Technology) for lesions 1.5mm deep and up to 1mm in diameter, or Multi-Spot Nd:YAG with MSPTM (multiple Sequential Pulsing) for lesions 4.5mm deep and up to 1mm in diameter. Improvements to the lesions are noticeable after the first treatment.
How Does Vascular Vein Treatment Work?
The blood in your vein absorbs the energy from the laser and starts to heat up which in turn destroys the vein. This in turn coagulates the blood vessels without damaging the overlying skin and improvements to the lesions are noticeable after the first treatment.
